1. Describe the idea and generate the app
With a single prompt, the AI created the core experience - ingredient-based search, category filters for proteins, vegetables, dairy and pantry essentials, along with a recipe results page packed with meals you could prepare that very evening.
2. Improve the recipe suggestions
Results were reordered so recipes requiring the fewest additional ingredients appeared first, while each recipe card clearly showed any ingredients that were still needed.
3. Replace emojis with illustrated icons
Every emoji was swapped for a thoughtfully designed illustration icon that matched each ingredient category, giving the interface a more refined, cohesive and professional feel.
4. Create a warmer visual style
Soft cream backgrounds, delicate borders, rounded category chips and inviting empty states transformed the app into something that felt more like a welcoming kitchen than a standard digital tool.
