Click <strong>OK<\/strong> to save the settings and you will return to your mailbox.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a name=\"Mozilla_Thunderbird\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Mozilla Thunderbird<\/h3>\n<ol class=\"step_by_step\">\n\n<li>Highlight your mailbox and select the <strong>View settings for this account<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n<br>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"screenshot\" src=\"\/support\/articles\/attachment\/131\/inline\/original\/1366803350\/thun_sync1.png\"><\/p>\n\n<li>In the account settings menu, choose <strong>Copies &amp; Folders<\/strong> and ensure that a tick is in the<br><strong>Place a copy in<\/strong> box. Here you can choose the folder and you simply need to make sure that it has your <strong>email address<\/strong> in this section.<\/li>\n<br>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"screenshot\" src=\"\/support\/articles\/attachment\/132\/inline\/original\/1366803354\/thun_sync2.png\"><\/p>\n\n<li>You will need to do the above for <strong>Message Archives<\/strong> as well as <strong>Drafts and templates<\/strong> to ensure that the folders within Thunderbird are synced to your <strong>IMAP<\/strong> mailbox.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a name=\"Macmail\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Mac Mail<\/h3>\n<ol class=\"step_by_step\">\n\n<li>Select <strong>Mail<\/strong> in the top left corner followed by <strong>Preferences<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<br>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"screenshot\" src=\"\/support\/articles\/attachment\/870\/inline\/original\/1568282543\/Mail.png\"><\/p>\n<li>Select <strong>Accounts<\/strong> then choose your email account from the left-hand column.<\/li>\n<li>Choose <strong>Mailbox Behaviours<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<br>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"screenshot\" src=\"\/support\/articles\/attachment\/871\/inline\/original\/1568282596\/Mailbox_Behaviours.png\"><\/p>\n\n<li>Check the <strong>Drafts Mailbox, Sent Mailbox, Junk Mailbox<\/strong>, and <strong>Trash Mailbox<\/strong> and ensure they are set to the option under your email and not <strong>On My Mac<\/strong> to make sure those folders will sync items to the server.<\/li>\n<br>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"screenshot\" src=\"\/support\/articles\/attachment\/872\/inline\/original\/1568282715\/Sync.png\"><\/p>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a name=\"Outlook_Mac\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Outlook 2011 for Mac<\/h3>\n<ol class=\"step_by_step\">\n\n<li>Choose <strong>Tools<\/strong> along the top navigation bar and then <strong>Accounts<\/strong> from the list.<\/li>\n<br>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"screenshot\" src=\"\/support\/articles\/attachment\/190\/inline\/original\/1369825364\/outlookmac_sync1.png\"><\/p>\n\n<li>Select the <strong>Advanced<\/strong> option in your account settings and then choose <strong>Folders<\/strong> from the tabs in the next window.<\/li>\n<li>You need to ensure that your folders are set to sync to the server.
