Before you get started,\u00a0you\u2019ll\u00a0need to have your email address and password handy. If you can\u2019t remember these details, you can check and reset them from\u00a0your\u00a0LCN account<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will also need to ensure you have Authenticated SMTP enabled. You can find out how to do this\u00a0here<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s get started\u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Tap the\u202fApps<\/strong>\u202fbutton and locate your built-in email application for your Android phone. (Most likely an icon with\u00a0an\u00a0@ symbol or envelope called\u202fEmail<\/strong>.)\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    1. Open the apps settings and select\u202fAdd Account<\/strong>. (If this is your first time using your email app you may already be on the\u202fSet up\u00a0account<\/strong>\u202fpage when you opened the app.)\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
      1. Select\u202fOTHER<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

              • In the\u202fEmail address<\/strong>\u202ffield enter your\u202ffull email address<\/strong>\u202fif not populated already.\u00a0<\/li>
              • Next in the\u202fUsername<\/strong>\u202ffield enter your\u202ffull email address<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>
              • In the\u202fPassword<\/strong>\u202ffield enter your\u202femail password<\/strong>\u202fif not populated already.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

                INCOMING SERVER\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
                • In the\u202fIMAP server<\/strong>\u202ffield enter\u202fmail.lcn.com<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>
                • The\u202fSecurity type<\/strong>\u202fneeds to be set to none\u00a0<\/li>
                • The\u202fPort<\/strong>\u202fshould be set to\u202f143<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>
                • The\u202fIMAP path prefix<\/strong>\u202fneeds to be left blank\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

                  OUTGOING SERVER\u00a0<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
                  • In the\u202fSMTP server<\/strong>\u202ffield enter\u202fmail.lcn.com<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>
                  • The\u202fSecurity type<\/strong>\u202fneeds to be set to none\u00a0<\/li>
                  • The\u202fPort<\/strong>\u202fshould be set to\u202f25<\/strong>,\u202f26<\/strong>\u202for\u202f587<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>
                  • Ensure that\u202fAuthentication required before sending emails<\/strong>\u202fis ticked\u00a0<\/li>
                  • In the\u202fUsername<\/strong>\u202ffield enter your\u202ffull email address<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>
                  • In the\u202fPassword<\/strong>\u202ffield enter your\u202fSMTP\u00a0password<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
                    1. Once completed click\u202fSIGN IN<\/strong> <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
                      1. The device will attempt to connect to the servers. If you receive any errors, simply choose\u202fCancel<\/strong>\u202fand double check your details are correct. Once successful, you will be taken back to the\u202fAccounts<\/strong>\u202fscreen. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                        Please Note:<\/strong>\u202fDepending on your internet service provider, the default port of\u202f25<\/strong>\u202fshould allow you to send email.                         • Open your\u202fEmail<\/strong>\u202fapplication and head back to the\u202fSettings<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/li>
