A <strong>Shared Mailbox<\/strong> is a type of mailbox in Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 that allows multiple users to access and manage the same email account. It&#8217;s commonly used by teams or departments to handle general inquiries or support requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Getting Started<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>To get started, you first need to log into your Microsoft Admin area located at <a href=\"https:\/\/login.microsoftonline.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/login.microsoftonline.com\/<\/a> with your Admin username and password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-nco-advice-block\"><p class=\"nco-advice-block-content\"><strong>TIP<\/strong>: Unsure where to find your Admin details? Choose a name that is relevant to the purpose of the shared mailbox e.g. HR Team, Technical Support, Sales etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Email address<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The email address that users will be able to send and receive email to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Alias <\/strong>(optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Another name for the email address.
