{"id":2388,"date":"2024-03-01T10:10:01","date_gmt":"2024-03-01T10:10:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.lcn.com\/support\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=2388"},"modified":"2024-03-01T10:10:01","modified_gmt":"2024-03-01T10:10:01","slug":"how-to-add-a-folder-in-webmail","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/www.lcn.com\/support\/articles\/how-to-add-a-folder-in-webmail\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Add a Folder in Webmail"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Once you have loaded Webmail, you shall be given some base folders to start you off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But sometimes, you may need some new folders to help customize your email experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This guide shall help you to create a new Folder within Webmail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This guide will require you to have access to the <strong>Online Control Panel<\/strong>, and you will need to access <strong>Webmail. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step One<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At the bottom of the column with your folders in there will be a <strong>Settings<\/strong> <strong>Cog<\/strong>, then select <strong>Manage Folders. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"209\" height=\"189\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lcn.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-193.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2334\" style=\"width:225px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lcn.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-193.png 209w, https:\/\/www.lcn.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-193-50x45.png 50w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 209px) 100vw, 209px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step Two<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>From the options, select <strong>Folders. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.names.co.uk\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4593\" style=\"width:276px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step Three<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can add a new folder, by selecting the <strong>+ <\/strong>symbol at the bottom of the <strong>folders<\/strong> section. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.names.co.uk\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-144-1024x181.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4511\" style=\"width:340px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step Four<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Enter the <strong>Folder Name <\/strong>you want to call your folder. <strong>Parent Folder<\/strong> means that you will select whether the folder will be a main or <strong>subfolder<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.names.co.uk\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/image-145-1024x513.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4512\" style=\"width:459px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If you leave this option blank, it will create its folder.
