This guide will help to show you how to transfer a Domain Name <\/strong>to us from another provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this guide, you will need to log into your Online Control Panel<\/strong> as the main account holder. If you require help getting into your Control Panel<\/strong>, follow this guide here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

.UK Domain Names<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you are transferring a .co.uk domain to us, then this involves a change in the Nominet Tag<\/strong>. This needs to be requested before starting the transfer into us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can either change it directly with Nominet<\/strong>, or you can request this change with your current Domain Hosting provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Nominet Tag <\/strong>you would change it to is LCN.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you have requested to change the Nominet Tag<\/strong>, you will want to then go into the control panel. Skip to \u2018Submitting the Transfer Request\u2019 <\/strong>section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

.com, .net, .org Domain Names (GTLD)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

These domains require an Authorisation Code<\/strong>, which is done by requesting a Transfer Away<\/strong> from your Current Provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you have submitted the request, they will give you the Authorisation Code<\/strong> which you will then give to us via the Online Control Panel.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you have the Authorisation Code<\/strong>, skip to \u2018Submitting the transfer Request\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Submitting the Transfer Request<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Now you will be submitting a request to have the Domain Name <\/strong>transferred into your account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hover your mouse over the Services <\/strong>tab, and select Domains & Services <\/strong>from the drop-down menu. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then select Add Domain<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, look for the heading Transfer Domain Name to us, <\/strong>and select Click here to begin the transfer process<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will see all the options presented in front of you, and you will select the option which relates to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Follow the process of your chosen domain name, and your request will be sorted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note:<\/strong> You may be required to make a payment for the transfer of a Domain Name<\/strong>. Double check when you are going through the transfer process.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n
