This guide is designed to show LCN <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lcn.com\/instantsite\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">InstantSite<\/a> customers how to upload and link to documents within the InstantSite editor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can link to documents in InstantSite using the following types of page elements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Text<\/li><li>Images<\/li><li>Buttons<\/li><li>Icons<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can learn how to add these page elements in InstantSite <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lcn.com\/support\/articles\/how-to-add-page-elements-using-instantsite#text\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Supported File Types<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The following file types can be added to the InstantSite document library: .txt, .csv, .pdf, .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlst, .ppt, .pps, .pptx, .ppsx, .ods, .odp, .odt.The maximum file-size supported for documents added to the library is 10MB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adding Document Links<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adding Text Links<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"step_by_step wp-block-list\"><li>Select the <strong>Edit Text<\/strong> button within the text element where you want to insert a document link: <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/articles\/attachment\/644\/inline\/original\/1512749370\/instant_site_edit_text_button.png\"><\/li><li>Click the <strong>Link<\/strong> button: <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/articles\/attachment\/645\/inline\/original\/1512749418\/instant_site_link.png\"><\/li><li>Click <strong>Document<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Enter the text that you want to be displayed for your document link into the <strong>Text<\/strong> field.<\/li><li>Click <strong>Select File<\/strong>, then select an existing document from the document library, or select <strong>Upload Document<\/strong> to upload a file from your computer to the image library.
