Please click on \u2018Configure<\/strong>\u2019 located under Terms and conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once there, scroll down and click on \u2018Generate now\u2019<\/strong> under the Terms and Conditions section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will take you to the edit area of the Generator where you can add and customize clauses<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, by default, a basic set-up was created when you clicked on \u2018Generate now\u2019 (you can view this by clicking on \u2018Preview\u2019<\/strong> in the right sidebar).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s important to point out that, since Terms and Conditions are legally binding documents, it\u2019s in your best interest and we strongly recommended that you customize your documents to suit your situation and business needs. We\u2019ll show you how to do that in the next step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customize your terms and conditions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As mentioned above, your Terms of Use needs to be adapted to individual needs. You do this by editing and adding clauses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, click on the \u2018Add clauses\u2019<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will open a window which allows you to select and edit the clauses you\u2019d like to add. If it\u2019s your first time using the Terms and Conditions Generator, you see the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As indicated by the image above, the most needed clauses are pre-selected by default as part of a basic set-up, but you can de-select or add additional clauses where necessary. The clauses are separated into intuitive modules, with on-click guides to help you throughout the set-up process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To edit a particular clause, simply click on the \u2018Customize\u2019<\/strong> button. This takes you into the clause where you modify as needed, to fit your scenario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As mentioned above, the on-click guides are available throughout to make sure that you choose the options that best fit your individual needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click on the \u2018Apply changes\u2019<\/strong> button on the bottom right to save your customizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 This action will take you back to the main \u201cclauses modal\u201d window. If you\u2019re finished customizing your terms, you can click on \u2018Save and close\u2019<\/strong> on the bottom right of this window and move on to the next step below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Owner & Service Info<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Now that you\u2019re finished editing, you\u2019ll need to enter your business details into the Owner\u2019s Field. To do so, simply click on the \u2018Next<\/strong>\u2019 option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will take you to the Owner & Service info page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Here you\u2019ll need to enter your legally valid business and\/or contact info.
The details of what\u2019s required for your specific scenario might vary based on where your business is located and who it targets<\/strong>. The most required information here usually includes the owner\u2019s\/business\u2019 identity, contact details, postal address, and relevant codes of conduct that apply to your business model (if any).

Since Terms of Service are legally binding contracts, it\u2019s important to state legitimate details here. Also, do consider that, in many cases, under Consumer Law, customers must be able to contact you if the need arises.

Once you\u2019re finished entering the required info into the Owner\u2019s field, click the\u00a0\u2018Next\u2019 button at the bottom right of the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will display the finished Terms document which again you can click \u2019Next<\/strong>\u2019 to proceed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once completed you can ether continue with your online compliance setup or go straight to embedding your new tool by ether clicking on the \u2018setup\/active\u2019 options or by clicking \u2018Take me to the Embedding Instructions<\/strong>\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add the terms of use to your site\/app<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
