You can learn how to do this\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lcn.com\/support\/articles\/how-to-create-an-email-address\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s&nbsp;get started\u2026&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adding a connected account&nbsp;to Gmail<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You can check your emails from other providers within Gmail. This is done by adding your account using the\u202f<strong>Accounts and Import<\/strong>\u202fmenu from the settings page in Gmail.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Click the cog icon in the top-right of the page and select\u202f<strong>Settings:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\"><li>Select\u202f<strong>Accounts and Import<\/strong>\u202ffrom the menu on the settings page.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\"><li>Select\u202f<strong>Add a mail account<\/strong>\u202falongside the option\u202f<strong>Check mail from other accounts<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"container row col-md-24 support-article panel panel-default panel-body\" style=\"background-color: #f6e9db; border-color: #ead9c7; border: 1px solid #ddd; border-radius: 4px; padding: 1% 2%; background-image: url('\/images\/my_account\/highlight.png'); background-position: left top; background-repeat: repeat-x;\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\"><strong style=\"color: #e77600 !important; font-size: 18px;\">Please note:<\/strong>\u202fThis will open a pop-up window where you will be prompted to enter your email address.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"4\"><li>Enter your LCN email address and select\u202f<strong>Next.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"5\"><li>Select\u202f<strong>Import emails from my other account (POP3),<\/strong>\u202fthen select\u202f<strong>Next<\/strong>\u202fagain.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"6\"><li>You will now need to enter the following settings to connect your account:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Username:<\/strong>\u202fYour full email address&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Password:<\/strong>\u202fYour mailbox password&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>POP Server:<\/strong>\u202fmail.lcn.com&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Port:<\/strong>\u202f110\/995&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The following tick-box options will be provided:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Leave a copy of retrieved message on the server:<\/strong>\u202fOptional, enable this option if you want a copy of downloaded messages to be left on the LCN mail server&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail:<\/strong>\u202fEnable this option if using port 995, leave unticked for port 110&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Label incoming messages:<\/strong>\u202fOptional, enable if you want downloaded messages to be labelled&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Archive incoming messages (Skip the inbox):<\/strong>\u202fOptional, enable this option if you want incoming messages to be automatically archived in Gmail.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"7\"><li>After filling out the settings above, select\u202f<strong>Add Account.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"8\"><li>Select\u202f<strong>Next<\/strong>\u202fto continue.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"9\"><li>You can now select if you want to send outgoing mail from your account using Gmail. If you don\u2019t need to send outgoing mail from your account through&nbsp;Gmail&nbsp;you can select\u202f<strong>No<\/strong>\u202fand then\u202f<strong>finish<\/strong>\u202fand this will complete the setup of your account.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>Otherwise, select\u202f<strong>Yes<\/strong>\u202fand then select\u202f<strong>Next<\/strong>,&nbsp;you\u2019ll&nbsp;now be prompted to enter further information about your email address:&nbsp;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"container row col-md-24 support-article panel panel-default panel-body\" style=\"background-color: #f6e9db; border-color: #ead9c7; border: 1px solid #ddd; border-radius: 4px; padding: 1% 2%; background-image: url('\/images\/my_account\/highlight.png'); background-position: left top; background-repeat: repeat-x;\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\"><strong style=\"color: #e77600 !important; font-size: 18px;\">Please Note:&nbsp;<\/strong>To be able to send you will need to have Authenticated SMTP activated.
