If you\u2019re using LCN.com\u202fweb hosting<\/a>\u202for\u202fWordPress hosting<\/a>\u202fpackages, this guide will show you how to change your FTP password. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note: <\/strong>Your FTP is usually shared with a mailbox username. Changing your FTP password may change your mailbox password and vice versa.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s get started\u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Login to your\u202fLCN.com account<\/a>\u202fand head to your Control Panel<\/strong>. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    1. Click\u202fon the domain you wish to update the FTP for. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
      1. Click on Hosting settings <\/strong>followed by FTP Users<\/strong>. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
        1. You will now see your FTP Usernames <\/strong>and if they are enabled. Click on the name you wish to update. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
          1. In the first box labelled Password <\/strong>enter your new password. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            Please Note:<\/strong>\u202fTo make sure your chosen password is secure you will need to make sure that it is at least 8 characters long, it must also include at least 3 of the following: Lower case letter, upper case letter, number, special character.             1. Confirm password<\/strong> in the second box. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
              1. Scroll down and click Save<\/strong> <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
