How to update your LCN account details
This guide will explain how to update your LCN account information including email, password, memorable word, contact and address.

Updating your LCN login information
- Log in to your LCN account and head to the control panel.
- Float your mouse over Account then click on Account Details.
- Click the pink Edit button for the first section titled Login.
- Update the details listed accordingly to valid details.
- Email Address – The email you provide is our primary way of contacting you, in addition, all your notifications about renewals and other information will be sent here.
- Alt. Email address – This is a backup email which we will use occasionally if we have been unable to reach you from your main email. The alternate email is optional.
- Memorable word – This can be a word or phrase, and this will be used by our Support Team to validate your identity. Make sure it is specific to you that you can quote when asked for it.
Please Note: Your Memorable word must be at least 3 characters long.
- Enter your current password to confirm your changes and click Save.
That’s it! You have now updated your account login information.
Updating your LCN account password
- Log in to your LCN account.
- Float your mouse over Account then click on Account Details.
- Click the pink Change password option under the section Login.
- A new page will show, you will need to first enter your Current password in the first box, then your New password in the second box, and lastly, Confirm new password in the third box.
Please Note: To make sure your chosen password is secure you will need to make sure that it is at least 8 characters long, it must also include at least 3 of the following: Lower case letter, upper case letter, number, special character. For a guide on making a secure password click here.
That’s it! You have now updated your account password.
Regaining access to your account
If you’ve lost your username, account reference or password you can request a reset by following our password reset guide here.
If you no longer have access to the email address that you originally signed up with, the support team can help you to regain access to your account if you get in touch with us by LiveChat, phone or email.
Changing account contact details
In addition to your email, we will also require valid contact details and you will need to ensure that this is kept up to date.
To update your account contact details…
- Log in to your LCN account and move to your Control Panel.
- Float your mouse over Account then click on Account Details.
- Select Edit on the heading for Contact.
- Using the form presented you can now update your account contact information. Ensure that this is correct as it may be required if support needs to contact you, or in ensuring account security when you are contacting us.
That’s it! You have now updated your account contact details.
Changing account address
Lastly, you will want to ensure we have a valid address on your account.
To update your address…
- First login to your LCN account and move to your Control Panel.
- Float your mouse over Account then click on Account Details.
- Select Edit on the header for Address.
- Using the form presented you can now update your address.
- You can Search for your address with almost any part of your address. However, for the best results searching for your postcode will provide all options for your area.
- If you can’t find your address using the search function you can enter your address manually following the presented form.
That’s it! You have now updated your account address.
Other details
The last section of your account details includes…
- Communications – This option allows you to select if you wish to receive any marketing emails including emails about our latest offers.
- Notifications – These options will allow you to choose how you receive your renewal reminders. We strongly recommended using at least 2 of these methods in the event one of the methods fails.
