How to reset your nameservers
nameservers form the backbone of the Domain Name System (DNS) as they create the link between a domain name and its email and website services.
If you have changed your nameservers in the past but would like to use LCN as your nameserver provider. This handy guide will show LCN domain owners how to reset them back to default.
Please note: our default nameservers are:
ns0.lcn.comns1.lcn.com
ns2.lcn.com
Let’s get started…
- Log in to your LCN account.
- Click Domains and select Manage next to the domain.
- Click Nameservers.
- Click Reset to LCN Defaults and then Reset My Nameservers
- Allow up to 72 hours for the changes to take effect.
Please note
Your nameserver changes will normally be active within a few hours, however it can take up to 72 hours for your changes to propagate globally.
