A name server forms the backbone of the DNS. Its main job is to translate the domain name into its corresponding IP address which in turn links to your website and email services

Our default Nameservers are ns0.lcn.com for the primary, and ns1.lcn.com for the secondary. If you have changed your Nameservers in the past and would like to set them to our defaults to take advantage of our free features or web hosting packages, you can do so in your account by following the instructions below:

  1. Log in to your LCN.com account.
  2. Click the Domains icon and choose the domain you wish to manage.
  3. Click Nameservers in the Current Domain menu on the left.
  4. Click the Reset to LCN Defaults link and allow up to 48 hours for the changes to take effect.

Your Nameserver changes will normally be noticed within a few hours, however it can take up to 48 hours for your changes to propagate globally.
