LCN - Blacklisting - 07/02/2018

Our Engineering team have been working hard throughout today to deal shut down spammers responsible for a number of LCN's outbound email IPs becoming blacklisted.

This is now under control and as a result, we've submitted requests to be removed from the blacklists.

Removal times differ from blacklist to blacklist but we'll be doing all we can to ensure this is done as quickly as possible.

We've recently become aware of a number of our outbound email IPs being blacklisted.

As a result of this, some customers are experiencing errors when attempting to send email from LCN hosting email accounts.

The cause of this appears to be a larger than usual amount of spam leaving the LCN email platform.

We're working hard to address this and ensure that we're de-listed by Barracuda as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, customer's affected by this can try the following to ensure their emails send without issue:

    Attempt to the resend the email as this may be sent by an IP which isn't affected by this issue
    Attempt to send the email using an alternative address
    Contact your ISP and ask for an alternative server to send email from
