Frequently asked questions about our response to COVID-19
Are the support teams available to help?
Yes of course, and to keep our employees as safe as possible, the majority of our workforce are now working remotely. Our teams are available and ready to provide top-class service to our customers.
How do I contact support?
The same way as always - you can call us, speak to us instantly over LiveChat or raise a ticket. As our staff adjust to working remotely with new phone software, please bear with us if you experience any delays when contacting us.
Have you and your supply chain made any provisions to deal with COVID-19?
As a cloud-based company we’re used to accessing the necessary systems to enable us to provide our normal services to customers. We continue to work with our cloud computing and systems partners to ensure our platform remains stable and available at all times and we’re in regular contact with our hardware and connectivity partners as they continue to provide uninterrupted services.
How does your business continuity plan deal with COVID-19?
Safety is the top priority for our business continuity plan so moving our employees out of our offices and setting them up to work from home, was our first step. Now, with staff safely working remotely, we are able to dedicate all our resources to ensure service continues as normal. Our staff are equipped with all the tools they need to continue delivering advice and support even if the current crisis escalates further.
Are your data centres impacted?
Our UK data centres are fully operational but we’ve reduced the number of employees on site to ensure their health and safety. As ’key workers’, two network administrators continue to operate in each centre so they can provide remote support when necessary. Safe social distancing protocols are in place and each administrator uses their own computer equipment to keep the working environment as clean as possible. When travelling to and from work, these administrators carry official documents to demonstrate to law enforcement that they are undertaking a key worker role.
My business is struggling, can you help?
We hope so, we’ll do our absolute best to help however we can. Our support includes discussions about your billing or any issues you may have with upcoming renewals. It’s our view that all businesses need to support each other to get through this crisis and we want to help you maintain a strong digital presence and stay connected to your customers. So, if you need a little extra help, please get in touch and don’t suffer in silence.
