How to setup your Instant Website Builder package

This guide will show you what to do once you have purchased your Instant Website Builder package.

  1. Start by logging into your LCN.com control panel by clicking the 'Account' link in the top right hand corner of our website. Once clicked you will be asked to log in with the username and password supplied when ordering your domain name or web hosting package. Do so.
  2. Once logged in you will be taken to the LCN.com control panel where you can see and manage all of the domain names and web hosting packages you own. Select the Instant Website Builder package you would like to set up.
  3. Once selected you will be taken to the hosting summary page for that domain name. Scroll down until you can see the 'manage your web pages section'. Click login.
  4. If prompted about a security warning, click continue.
  5. You will now be taken to the Instant Website Builder editor.
  6. Assuming this is your first time using Instant Website Builder you will want to go back to step 1 of 5 (start) as opposed to directly editing your content. Click 'start' in the top right corner of the window.
  7. Step 1: You will now be presented with a window allowing you to choose what sort of website you would like to create.
  8. Step 2: You can choose from a wide variety of themes for your website. Once you have selected a design that suits your website click the next button. Note: You can come back and select a different theme at any time.
  9. Step 3: You will be presented with a new screen detailing what pages are currently included on you website. Tick the pages you would like and you use the add/remove page buttons to place the pages onto your website.
  10. Step 4: You can now edit the content for your pages. Select the page you wish to edit from the navigation on the left hand side and simply input content into the main section as you if you were using a word processor such as MS Word. You can drag special functions such as RSS from the right hand column straight into your design. Once you are happy with the content click next. Note: Once again your content can be changed at any time.
  11. Step 5: The final step is to publish your website. Simply click publish.

Once published your website will be viewable at your domain name.
