Creating a personalised email account

This guide will show you to create a Mailbox using the LCN.com online control panel

Please note: In order to set up a personalised email account with us you will have need to purchased one of our web hosting packages.

Creating a mailbox:

  1. Start by logging into your LCN.com control panel by clicking the 'Account' link in the top right hand corner of our website. Once clicked you will be asked to log in with the username and password supplied when ordering your domain name or web hosting package. Do so.
  2. Once logged in you will be taken to the LCN.com control panel where you can see and manage all of the domain names and web hosting packages you own. Select the domain/hosting package you wish to set up an email address for.
  3. Once selected you will be taken to the hosting summary page for that domain name. Scroll down until you can see your email settings. Once there click 'Manage Mailboxes'.
  4. This will take you to a new screen where you can manage your mailboxes. Click the 'Add Mailbox' link.
  5. Input the email address you would like to create a mailbox for (e.g text@example-domain.net). Then input a memorable password, this must be at least 5 characters long, for security purposes we recommend using a combination of letters and numbers. Once this has been entered click 'Create'.
  6. You have now created your mailbox. You should see the following notice appear at the top of your Hosting summary page.

You can now access your email account via our free webmail feature or by setting up a email client such as Outlook 2007 or Windows Mail.
