How to set up your email account on an iPhone

It's great to be able to access your email on the move. This guide shows you how to set up your iPhone to send and receive email using your LCN email account. Please make sure you know your full email address and the password before you begin.

This procedure may vary slightly depending on what version of IOS (the iPhone software) you're using. This guide was made using IOS 4.1.

1. Tap the Settings icon on your dashboard
2. Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars
3. Tap Add Account
4. Tap Other
5. Choose Add Mail Account
6. Enter your name, your email address, your password and a brief description of the account to help you find it later
7. Tap the Next button at the top right of your screen. Your iPhone will then try and determine as many settings as it can for you before loading the next page
8. Change the account from an IMAP to a POP account at the top of the page
9. Under Incoming Mail Server you will see Host Name, enter pop.lcn.com here
10. In the User Name field enter your full email address
11. In the Password field enter the password for that email address
12. Scroll down to the Outgoing Mail Server, under Host Name, enter post.lcn.com here
13. In the User Name field enter your full email address
14. In the Password field enter the password for that email address
15. Choose the blue Save button at the top right of the screen

Your iPhone should now be set up and ready to receive email.
