What is 'htdocs' and why do I need it?

'htdocs' is the directory that all of your web files need to be uploaded to on our NT hosting plans. It is best to set it as the initial directory you connect to when you FTP to your hosting. This option is usually referred to as initial host or remote directory or folder within most FTP software.
