What is Redemption Grace Period (RGP)?
Failure to renew your domain registration will eventually result in your domain name going into redemption. Instead of being deleted and returned to the pool of available names it is held for a 30 day grace period.
During this 30 day window the original registrant may still retrieve the domain name for an additional fee. If the domain registration is not renewed in this time it is deleted by the registry.
