What is Quarantine?

Quarantine is the .EU term for RGP. Failure to renew your domain registration before the expiry date will result in your domain name going into quarantine. Instead of being deleted and returned to the pool of available names it is held for a 40 day period.

During this 40 day window the original registrant may still retrieve the domain name for an additional fee. If the domain registration is not renewed in this time it is deleted by the registry.
