Who can register a .EU domain name?

To register a .eu domain names you must be one of the following:


  • Undertakings having their registered office, central administration or principal place of business within the European Community;

  • Organisations established within the European Community without prejudice to the application of national law;

  • Natural persons resident within the European Community.


.EU domain registration is available on a "first come first served" basis. Anyone resident in the European Community, who is in compliance with the terms and conditions of registration may register a .EU domain, provided the .EU domain name is still available.
