We’re listening to you! – No more 0870 numbers

Its been a busy few months, what with the data centre move which is now fully functional and also the launch of some new free web hosting features. Details of which can be found here :

Despite these projects, our focus on improving our overall customer service to our customers has not been forgotten. In my last blog entry I asked our customers for any ideas, suggestions or even criticisms about the way we do or don’t do something. One of the most common complaints you had was the fact that our support lines were 0870 numbers and if you were waiting in the queue for several minutes then it meant more expense for you. This point has been taken on board and as a result I am pleased to announce that our support line numbers have been changed as follows :

Fax : + 44 (0)1438 300 137
These are normal land-line numbers and you will be charged at the standard call rate by your phone provider.
We are still monitoring our daily phone activity and working towards keeping call waiting times to a minimum. Remember, our support lines are now open until 10pm Monday to Friday and also on a Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 10am and 2pm. The following page on our website gives an indication of our normal busier periods when you may be kept waiting in a queue before being able to speak to one of our support staff :

The removal of the 0870 numbers is purely as a result of us listening to you and your feedback and we still want this to continue so that we can get to our target of consistently providing a 5 star customer service. Therefore, we still want your ideas, suggestions or criticisms about the way we do things. Please send them to feedback@lcn.com . I will personally read all replies and as we have again demonstrated, we will act if we agree and feel it is a positive change.
